Elderly Pennsylvania Amway IBO's allegedly lose
$50,000 in retirement savings
This nice couple called and met with me. They advised that they had lost all of
their retirement savings after becoming IBOs and now live in an apartment over a furniture store.
Hi I just found a whole file full of papers in the attic re: training, seminars, artistry, dream weekend, family reunion, etc. so that will help me put a ballpark figure together. Also found some of our monthly calendars showing meetings we did as well as opens & trainings we attended & where XXXXX (husband) went to Texas twice a month (for about 3 months).
Also, we got tape of the plus one for both of us every week, XXX (Diamond) promoted this, said he & XXXXXX (Diamond wife) did this cause they had separate vehicles & that way they both got to listen to the tapes when they came in so of course XXXXX (Husband) followed his lead. Also found another suitcase full of books if you want them. I know we are looking at well over $50,000, & then of course the stuff we sold to go to some of these functions. Hope to have a more accurate figure for you sometime this week.
